If after purchasing your seeds you find the same variety and pack size cheaper elsewhere within 28 days of the purchase date, we will not only match the price but give you double the difference back, paid direct into your Groseeds store account.

The information we need from you -

When making a claim we ask that you include the following details -

  • The name and email address you used when placing your order on the Groseeds website.
  • Order date.
  • Do you have an account with Groseeds?
  • Seed species and variety (e.g. Carrot - Amsterdam Forcing 3 or Marigold - Crackerjack).
  • State whether the variety is organic or non-organic.
  • Seed count or weight.
  • Price.
  • Name of the competitor.
  • Website address of competitor.
  • Catalogue title and page number (if applicable).

Price Promise Terms & Conditions

  • The competitor's product must be identical to ours, i.e. the variety and seed count or weight must match.
  • The claim must be received within 28 days of the purchase date.
  • The product must be sold by a UK based company.
  • This Price Promise only applies to the price of the product. We will not price match the delivery charge or any other services.
  • When making your claim please include all the required information (as listed above).
  • We will email or post you the 'Price Promise Outcome'.
  • If successful, your Groseeds store account will be credited with double the difference within 3 working days from the date of the 'Price Promise Outcome' email or letter.

Example 'Price Promise' store credit -

Groseeds product Carrot Z (300 seeds) = £1.50. Competitors Carrot Z (300 seeds) = £1.30 (20 pence difference).
In this example 40 pence would be credited to the customers store account.

How to redeem your store credit

To view your store credit simply 'sign in' to your Groseeds account (please allow for 3 working days from the date on the 'Price Promise Outcome' email or letter for this credit to appear in your account)

Once logged into your account the value of the credit will be displayed on the left side of the 'My Account' page.

To use the store credit, simply place an order as you have done in the past. This time however during checkout you will be able to select 'Pay using my store credit' (Store credit can be used to make a full payment or a part payment on an order).


How can I claim my store credit if I haven't opened an account with Groseeds?

If you do not have an account with Groseeds please ensure you inform us when submitting your Price Promise claim.

All orders placed on the Groseeds website will have automatically generated an account (including customers who 'checkout as a guest'). However customers who opted to 'checkout as a guest' before purchasing an order will not have had the opportunity to set up a password for the account and therefore will not be able to access it. In this situation we will email you with instructions on how to set up a password on the existing account and how to access the account to redeem your store credit.

Please do not open a new Groseeds account as the Price Promise store credit will be credited to the account that was automatically generated when you first purchased the item(s) you are claiming the Price Promise on.
